The GP2Y1014AU0F is an optical dust sensor from Sharp designed to detect airborne particles using an infrared LED and photodetector.
The sensor detects particles by measuring reflected infrared light. The internal signal-processing circuit produces an analog voltage output corresponding to the detected dust concentration.
Compared with other sensors in the GP2Y10 family, the GP2Y1014AU0F is specified as a higher-precision model, with a sensitivity of 0.5 V / (0.1 mg/m³) and ±15% sensitivity accuracy.
