Xbee communication Pack

If you need to establish a communication between two devices via Xbee this is the ideal pack . This pack includes two Xbee Series 1 AWI ( whipe antenna) being possible to establish a communication distance up to 100 meters ( open field ) . This pack also includes the converter FOCA USB-Serial/Xbee . The FOCA is a USB - serial converter which also supports XBEE format. This converter is very versatile because it allows you to use Xbee to communicate with your computer or with any device that has a USB port, and allows also communicate with any microcontroller since it has a serial output format headers . To communicate with the PC you need a USB / Mini USB also comes included.

WARNING: when using the Xbee FOCA converter, it is necessary that the voltage selector in FOCA is selected at 3.3 V and not 5V, since the XBee has an operating voltage of 3.3 V. If you use Xbee with FOCA being the voltage selector selected at 5V, the XBee will burn!  

To use the XBee communication between a PC and Arduino , you only need to acquire a supporting Xbee shield , and may also acquire other converter FOCA ( using its functionality converter XBee - series).
