Foca 2.x is a compact USB to serial adapter equipped with BEE (20pin 2.0mm) sockets. With integrated FT232 IC, It can be used for programming or communicating with MCU applications. On the other hand, you may connect your PC to various wireless applications via the BEE compatible modules.

Foca V2.0 is a USB to serial UART board with XBee interface socket. It’s the essential tools for establishing communication between PC and mostly MCU or use XBee. Especially, it’s the optimum tool for the board which basic Arduino but without USB interface, like Arduino Mini, Sniffer Nano, Colorduino, etc

It is an excelent compact converter to use with xbee applications or other bee modules, using a USB cable to give you more connection flexibility. So, you can conect a xbee module directly to your PC. Instead bee modules, you also can directly connect all serial devices through on board headers cause mainly it is a serial to usb converter.

A usb cable (not included) is needed to conect FOCA to PC.

ATENÇÃO: ao utilizar o Xbee no conversor FOCA, é necessário que o seletor de tensão existente no FOCA esteja selecionado em 3,3V e não em 5V, uma vez que o Xbee tem uma tensão de funcionamento de 3,3V. Caso utilize o Xbee com o FOCA estando o seletor de tensão selecionado em 5V, o Xbee irá queimar!
