By integrating a specialized 8.5mm focal length lens, this 30x magnification attachment transforms the HUSKYLENS 2 into a smart digital microscope. It delivers high-resolution 2MP (GC2093) imaging and achieves a minimum resolvable line width of approximately 3 μm, enabling not just the observation but the identification of microscopic targets. This AI-compatible lens opens up new applications in automated biology, microscopic quality inspection, and interdisciplinary technology education.

This microscope lens accessory moves beyond simple observation. It empowers the HUSKYLENS 2 to apply its machine vision algorithms—such as object recognition, tracking, and classification—to the microscopic world. Instead of just viewing a cell, the system can be trained to identify and react to specific types of cells, micro-organisms, or material structures, automating complex observation tasks.

 

High Magnification and Resolution Imaging

This high-resolution lens provides approximately 30x magnification, making previously invisible details clear and distinct. It features a 2-megapixel GC2093 sensor and achieves a high system spatial resolution of 161 lp/mm. This precision allows it to resolve line widths down to approximately 3 μm (USAF 1951, Group 7, Element 3), which is essential for distinguishing fine details in biological samples, electronics, or material surfaces.
