The JGY370 is a DC motor equipped with a Worm Gear reduction gearbox, designed to provide controlled movement and self-locking of the output shaft.
This version operates at 24 V DC and provides a 150 RPM no-load speed and approximately 120 RPM under load. The rotation direction can be reversed by reversing the power supply polarity.
The worm gear reduction system also provides self-locking of the output shaft when the motor is not powered, preventing the shaft from freely rotating.

The rotation direction can be changed by reversing the DC power supply polarity.
An appropriate control circuit, such as an H-bridge, can be used to control the motor in both directions.
The gearbox provides a 40:1 reduction ratio, reducing the motor speed while increasing the available output torque.
The worm gear system also provides self-locking, helping keep the output shaft in position when power is removed.
